Philip James ROI will guide you through methods of observation and description, Mapping the Human; character and individuality, The structure of features, balance and weight of the body.

Philip James ROI’s practice as a painter spans fifty years, beginning with landscapes made on site in Sussex, Cornwall and the Lake District in the mid 1960s, leading to city views of London and Paris. He has worked on corporate commissions for businesses in the UK and USA, and regularly undertakes private portraits of individuals, families and children, working at his Islington studio.

Attendees to bring their own materials.
