It was a fantastic day on Saturday as Steven P Smith, Adam Ralston, and Michael Ashcroft hosted the Friends of the ROI in beautiful Waterhead, Ambleside.

 

Although the sun didn’t make an appearance, the weather stayed dry and the trees were in full autumnal splendour. Artists travelled from across the UK — from as far as Norfolk and Brighton — to paint together and create a stunning collection of artworks. It was a fun and friendly day filled with creativity, conversation, and camaraderie, rounded off perfectly with a well-earned drink at the local pub.
