Sonia Lawson RA Hon ROI RWS Hon RWA – in memory

The ROI were very saddened to hear of the loss of Sonia Lawson RA Hon ROI RWS Hon RWA in 2023. In memory of Sonia, the ROI decided to install a large triptych (‘Garrison Town’ –  painted by Sonia the 1980s) in the 2023 annual exhibition and this article describes the work in greater depth.
