A fundraising silent auction
As part of this year’s annual exhibition the ROI have a silent auction of paintings to help raise funds for the AGBI (Artists’ General Benevolent Institution).
The AGBI – a charity dedicated to support visual artists and their dependents in need who cannot work or earn due to injury or illness – can only carry its essential work thanks to donations and relies on voluntary contributions. This is why The Royal Institute of Oil Painters is organising this year a silent auction of eight paintings from its members with all proceeds going to the charity. The paintings will be on display at the Mall Galleries during their Annual Exhibition (28 November until 14 December 2024). You will find them on a wall near the reception desk.
How to bid
You can leave your bids at the Mall Galleries by filling a bidding form (Ask for info at the reception desk). Alternatively, you can place bids online via the auction page our website.
Bids will close on Tuesday 10 December at 1pm. Each painting will be sold to the highest bidder and the winners will be contacted on Wednesday 11 December.
